Hey! So I want a change, a BIG change. My hair, at the moment is like a mahogany red colour, but I want to go something reeeeeally different.
Im thinking fire engine red or pink, but im open to any other ideas! I would prefer one colour though, having mor colour in my hair at once would be too hard to upkeep, I think.
Here's a couple of photos of me, but they don't show the colour very well.

i haven't posted in.... maybe a year or more?? busy busy busy. i'm not sure if this is TOTALLY following the rules, so if not, feel free to delete this post.
i have reconstructed a few things in the past year or so. behind the cut you can see pictures of them, as well as a ton of shirts from throughout my entire sewing history, starting back in high school! ew. i'm moving to nicaragua in about a month, and moving somewhere else when i get back to milwaukee, so i have to get rid of a TON of stuff. sooooo... i have to sell some of my shirts :[
but maybe that is good news for you! :-D
this is the first time i've ever sold any of my stuff, ever. the stuff i made within the first 2-3 years of reconstructing was ALL sewn by hand, so the stitching is ugly, weird, not strong enough in some spots, the whole piece is sketchy in general, etc. even the stuff i make now is still not "sellable" quality in my mind. i leave lots of raw edges, when stuff rips i just wear it anyway, etc. my clothes are sketchy! but i like them that way. if you're into this, this is for you! if not, i thought maybe people might want to get some as inspiration, to help beginners see how it is pieced to together, to use as a pattern of sorts, to rip apart and make something else out of... who knows!
so, for this reason, i'm selling everything for $5 each. $2 shipping. yep, only $7. i hate to part with everything, but i don't wear them at all, and someone else might benefit from having them?

So I haven't put my hair up forever, last time I did I ended up doing liberty spikes because it was easier, and my mohawk didn't feel like getting up...

since i am ridiculous and cant seem to settle on one hair color, i've realized today that while i've been doing a good job at keeping my hair color looking semi-normal, i haven't been getting the same attention that my hair has brought me in "edgier" days.
this attention is great for me because i become a walking billboard. each time i went out to the bar, 9 times out of 10, someone would ask me where i get my hair done. i would proceed to tell that person that i am a stylist and do my own, and then hand over my buisness card and it actually works! quite a few of my clients became loyal to me after a single night out.
because my hair is pretty typical now, i don't get the same reaction from others, so i'm thinking about putting the pink back in and continuing on this platinum blonde kick.

I have a hair appointment scheduled for tomorrow and I need some ideas. Some good hairstyles that go well with my face structure and whatnot. I want to keep it around the same length since I am trying to grow out my hair but I want something a bit less plain and boring but nothing too extreme/drastic.

Here's what I came up with, fun yellow and black! although for some reason, the cam makes it look more lime green. but it's YELLOW I SAY!

School is going pretty awesome, i love being in a class full of people all interested in the same thing and who understand why makeup is such an obsession xD i get so much inspiration. We're also gonna do my brows finally when we get into waxing, so everyone here can be happy bout that, no more nasty brows in the pictures. And i'm working on my liner, slowly... might try some gel liner since i can't use liquid. |

I posted on this not to long ago. It twas about about bangs or no bangs.
WELL, I WANT AN EVEN BIGGER CHANGE. And I want it now!
WHAT I WANT:
On a brown base I want (not platinum but not honey) blond highlights, dark brown lowlights, a side of long messy bangs, and the lower half section of my hair to stay dark brown.
MY QUESTIONS:
I have about 2 inches or more of new hair growth (at my roots obviously), will highlighting my roots and dyed ends jack up the color? For example, will my roots be blond and my ends turn orange? Should I dye my hair all one color of brown first? Should I even change it rofl. How the fuck am I gonna do this shit without messing up??? I haven't dyed the shit out of my hair for lonnnnnnnnnnnng time. Like...since July lol.

I have been interested in getting a specific tattoo for about 2 years. I want a solid red heart, about 2" by 2" on my right wrist. No black outline, just solid red. When I went to my local tattoo parlor, they refused to give me a strictly color tattoo. I was told the tattoo would fade oddly and leave the appearance of a scab or rash. I have never heard this before and I have seen many people with color only tattoos. I guess I don't really understand the logic behind this. If you have a tattoo that is outlined in black but filled in with color, won't it fade as well and look just as *shitty* ? Should I find a different parlor and get the tattoo regardless? |
